    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Structural Project Engineer, self-motivated, personable, problem-solver who remains professional and flexible in a fast-paced environment. Design ranges from public schools, industrial, medical, low-rise commercial developments, and structural investigations.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    Ability to produce layouts and project details

    Research design options

    Perform structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards C.B.C. 2016, ASCE 7-16, LABC 2014, AISC 360-10, ACI 318-14, NDS 2015 Ed., engineering formulas, skills and experience.

    Perform calculations for Wind, Seismic, Earth, Snow Loads, and Live Load Reduction

    Provide drawings, sketches and structural details for CAD drafters and coordination QC process

    Coordinate work with Client, City Officials, Architects, other disciplines Engineers and Contractors

    Assume the Lead Engineer’s role on assigned projects

    Review and revise the final engineering Submittals and ensure they meet the requirements of all relevant

    Standard Codes and Practices.
