Committee Mission & Charges
The mission of the SEAOSC Communications Committee is to create a positive image of Southern California structural engineers in the minds of the public as major contributors to the quality of life in our communities and the safety of our built environment. The committee’s primary objectives are to increase Southern Californians’ awareness of the role of structural engineers in assuring the public’s safety, communicate across the organization, and promote the profession of structural engineering. The committee coordinates internally to make sure all members of SEAOSC are informed and able to promote the above stated objectives. Committee members help draft, craft, and design communications for and on behalf of the members.
