Getting Started: What to Expect in the Beginning of Your Structural Engineering Career

Interested in pursuing or continuing a successful career in structural engineering? Join SEAOSC on February 6th where a panel of young structural engineers will share the experiences of their early careers and offer advice to those interested in joining the profession. Our panelists include young engineers with experience ranging from 1-5 years and backgrounds in various aspects of structural engineering. Panelists will speak about what they were seeking when choosing a company to work for, their day-to-day job responsibilities, what they wish they knew when they started, and much more! Students and young practicing engineers will learn beneficial perspectives as they begin and continue their careers in structural engineer. More experienced engineers will gain a crucial insight into what young engineers are looking and experiencing as they grow in the profession.
