Androush Danielians is an executive officer at the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro). He has over 29 years of experience delivering infrastructure projects including transit, highway and commuter/freight rail. He is the head of engineering department at Metro providing technical expertise to Metro projects. He received his doctorate degree in structural engineering from The George Washington University in Washington DC and his interest and passion in the design of seismic resilient structures brought him to California. He began his career with Caltrans and soon after moved to the private sector prior to joining Metro. He joined Metro over 5 years ago. He has extensive experience working with consultants, contractors and various government agencies working exclusively on transportation related projects.  

Throughout his career, Androush has managed projects, departments, and staff that have been focused on providing technical support to a vast variety of projects. He has extensive design management experience for all stages of project life-cycle, from planning to conceptual design and engineering through project construction. Some of the Metro projects that Androush has been involved with include the Gold Line Foothill Extension, Expo, Gold Line Eastside Extension, Orange Line Extension, Gold Line I-210 barrier replacement and the Crenshaw project.
