Join Us for the latest on the updates to the SoCal Retrofit Ordinances. An Existing Buildings Committee Webinar about the state of practice for upgrading our existing buildings:

• Hear about updates that have been released or are pending related to the seismic retrofit ordinances for City of Los Angeles, West Hollywood, and Santa Monica.
  
• Learn about best practices to meet the intent of these seismic retrofit ordinances for wood SWOF, non-ductile concrete, and steel Pre-Northridge Moment Frame structures.
• Explore how some critical questions related to the implementation of the seismic retrofit ordinances are currently being addressed. For example, topics such as building pounding, existing buildings over fault zones, non-structural element upgrade requirements, minimum earthquake hazards, historic buildings, etc. will be discussed.
