    Henkel Corporation, and its FYFE division, are looking for a Structural Engineer, Civil Engineer, or Construction Management professional who is looking for a challenge supporting engineers and contractors in the capacity of Senior Project Engineer.

    FYFE is the leading manufacturer and designer of fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) systems for strengthening concrete, masonry, steel, and wooden structures, in addition to buried pipelines. FYFE was originally founded in 1988 to strengthen deficient bridge columns in California for seismic events using aerospace materials.  Today, FYFE is recognized around the world as the pioneer of the FRP structural strengthening industry with over 40 patents in the field. In 2023, FYFE was acquired by Henkel Corporation and today continues to serve the engineering and infrastructure community.

    FYFE manufactures and designs specialized carbon and glass fabrics combined with polymers for use in strengthening and rehabilitation projects.     Are you passionate about structural engineering and ready to lead innovative projects in a dynamic environment? Henkel’s Adhesive Technologies division is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support our cutting-edge work with Fiber-Reinforced Polymer (FRP) systems in the civil and structural market space.

    What you’ll do:

    ·        Interact with customers, engineers, and contractors to support project development

    ·        Assess the feasibility, constructability, and technical requirements of FRP applications

    ·        Collaborate with Engineers of Record, Business Development, and Certified Applicators

    ·        Lead site visits and coordinate project activities across various stages

    ·        Support research, technical writing, and industry committee participation

    ·        Prepare estimates, RFIs, and support technical R&D activities

    What makes you a great fit:

    ·        Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred)

    ·        5-10 years of experience, with leadership experience a plus

    ·        Professional Engineering (PE) License in multiple states a plus

    ·        Strong project management, problem-solving, and technical skills in FRP systems

    ·        Ability to handle multiple tasks and complex engineering challenges

    ·        Excellent communication skills for technical presentations and customer interactions
